Ittefaq’, a song by singer-songwriter Jaybird, for which the lyrics are written by Manish Lohani with Jaybird himself. Focusing on the coincidences of life, the song tells the journey of a person who’s been a loner and is living his life on his own terms and prioritises his own happiness first.
The song accepts the part of fate or destiny in life, how everything in life is more or less combined and plays a big role in how a person’s life turn out to be as it is.
The song breaks the stereotype of loners being sad in life, the song is all about how a person can be happy with himself and love himself and when the time comes you’ll find people like you eventually. The song also hints at the dark reality of society and how everything is not as it seems.
