The film for me means a journey through time, a journey of imagination, making dreams come true and
a chance to live many live times.
VIDEO for me is passion, precision, patience, success, denial and pain at the same time!
I did not choose this job to become a millionaire but I have a million ideas and a million reasons to
become the best filmmaker I could be!
   
My name is Rok and I'm the founder of the brand NoGravity Media, located in Slovenia (Europe).
My story is not typical. I did not have my father's camera and started filming movies at some point.
When I was a boy I spend my days watching movies and listening to music 16 hours per day. That is one
of the reasons that I began to work with stuff I spent the most time with.

Music is like painting, full of emotions that you draw in your head. Through music I feel the atmosphere
of the film. A good video can only arise in the head of musician or someone who understands music ...
 
When I was a child I was daydreaming a lot, every night before going to sleep I was dreaming about my
future, although I never knew exactly what I am going to do in my life, all I knew was that I want to
create stories! Visualization and feelings with the music undertake me and I started to create ..
 
My early creation started during the teenage crisis.
Alcohol, drugs, personal degradation, bad grades, problems at home ...
Due to my laziness and irresponsibility, I quite school and started working various heavy physical work.
On the other hand in my free time I was completely dedicated to music, I was in love with hip hop and I
created music.
I could say that it was the best thing in my life, although I never really get the Big Break.
But I get something much better ... I get the meaning of my path, a true friendship and my safe place to
retreat!

Since we had no money with our group we started shooting (filming) the video for hip-hop song by
ourselfs. At that time I owned Sony digital camera worth 70€ . So one day I decided that I am going to
film my first video. ... and then it happened. The first time I reconciled video and music I felt the
harmony of this work. I got 300 ideas on how to improve the video ... even though for that time and
equipment my first video was really good.
Back then I had no experience with post production. That night I tossed cadres (scenes) until the
following evening - without stopping ..

It was the first time in my life, I have finished something! The feeling was awesome! It was my new drug,
the best feeling that I have ever felt. For first time in my life I realized that I feel valued and proud on my
achievement! Although, the video was never published, because I was looking for perfection!

That was the time I started to learn every day, every weekend, I wanted to advance my work from
project to project. I became addicted!

I started to monitor other filmmakers and I soon realized I've absolutely no education on the field, but I
was still doing pretty good videos.
Talent was not enough. I lagged behind because of financial hardship and poor equipment.... although it
did not stop me, I became more motivated!

I do not want to compare myself with the competition because I'm obsessed with what I do. For me are
important my projects… and my work that I can't stop thinking about! At night I dream scenes (cadres),
at day I am thinking about ideas and my next steps. When I go to bed I feel guilty because I could work at
the time… you could call me Film Junkie!

For me Competition means comparison of quality, not rivalry or contest! I rather focus on my friends,
family and my girlfriend ...
people who have helped me through the last year's most difficult periods (times).

I have the privilege to collaborate with great artists and I also have the privilege to show my work to my
audience and my followers. I believe that are the dreams of every filmmaker.
I created my you tube channel at the end of year 2014 when I started to share my projects.

I got great feedback, people apparently like to watch my content and that is why I decided to spread on
my knowledge.

That was only a brief renewal of my story. I believe that there are many people in the world who would
